In another year Heat could have won Oscar for best film. 1995 was one of the top years for greatest films including Pulp Fiction, Shawshank, Redemption, Apollo 13, Braveheart and Rob Roy. Braveheart won but hasn't held up over time.

Its one of my best Cruise movies. A surprisingly crafty movie that speeds along with action, comedy and romance.

Reminded me of the wonderful The Incredibles movie. Some nice plot twists and an unusual storyline. Still much of it followed a familiar pattern.
