Absolutely shocking and encourages female tolerance of an extreme amount of abuse, even a murder attempt with a butcher knife by a husband on a pregnant wife. The wife is then encouraged to not speak badly about her husband. These teachings do not allow for wives to draw boundaries with their husbands concerning safety. It also puts the blame for a male falling from grace on the wife for not being everything she should be. There is also a section where a grown man is recorded as thinking extremely sexual thoughts toward three teenage girls sitting in front of him at church. MINORS. The book is full of these disturbing examples and shows a rudimentary understanding of the Scriptures. Please avoid.
