Very boring in parts, none of the characters are worth getting invested in because they are all either awful or elevated to saint status when it's not warranted, particularly Verna and Morella. The graphic violence is unnecessary and reduces it at times to a Saw kind of vibe, adding nothing to the story. And there are long, long stretches of poetry recitation and preachy holier-than-thou speeches. Do not recommend.

Terrible. This was in no way any kind of prequel to the Sopranos. Terrible.
