The Five Nights at Freddy's is an incredible movie hated on by critics. The critics rating the movie on IMDB don't understand the kind of audience nor who the movie is for. This movie is NOT for people who grade or condemn parts of the film, however this movie is for people genuinely enjoy the game franchise. Critics and other people may rate the movie badly for having elements that don't fit the story, however 1, almost every game/book franchise turned movie does this yet it's never talked about, 2, the movie is in Scott Cawthon's eyes, meaning it doesn't matter you say the lore is, it's that Scott says it is.
I personally watched the film in theaters and had no issues, however lots of people had issues, so I personally recommend you watch it on Peacock instead.
This movie has a series of amazing plot twists, several ways that captivate viewer's experience and envoke emotions. The ways that the movie transitions scenes could've been better, and CGI could have been better, but those are my only complaints.
Instead of a critic giving it a C-, I, as a fan and viewer give it an A-.
