I like music. I liked the music from past generations somewhat sung in this movie by two really good singers. One of the journeys is the tension existing in one of the singing stars about whether she has more to give in her career. This story runs parallel to the beginning career of a wonderful young singer and his journey to believe in himself to develop a significant singing career. Juxtaposed with both is the the journey and growth of a talented young woman in her own development of skills that helps singers be the best they can be. This movie ultimately is about the journey of three individuals believing in themselves. A movie I will view and pull out and view in the future again and again and again.

Good character development of a few characters. Meaningful values threaded through. Good acting. Predictable theme however of good and bad. So the processes undertaken are really what are important, not whether all is normal akin to the world today or 50 years back. Really good choice of lead female actress.
