This movie is a slow burn with a twist that I did not see coming. Reading some of the reviews, I can only assume that many people were disappointed by the reveal, but I think it was cool for just for the fact that it came out of nowhere. That’s all I’m going to say. I don’t want to give anything away, but I urge people to watch for themselves and don’t read spoilers because I was pleasantly surprised by how it all turned out.

I always liked this entry in the franchise. It was different, but oddly enjoyable to me. It would’ve been even cooler if they had somehow tied Silver Shamrock cult into Michael’s origin, which easily could’ve been done (couldn’t possibly be worse than the Thorn cult b/s they introduced in Halloweens 5 and 6).

Absurdly ridiculous but entertaining nevertheless. It’s like a SyFy Channel movie with a bigger budget. A good way to escape for a couple hours.

Slow and boring. The original was not great by any mean, but the performances by Drew Barrymore and George C. Scott carried it. The acting in this remake is subpar to say the least. Don’t bother watching. It stinks.
