I watched this with some reservations. I felt the trilogy was a complete story, and didn't need another edition. The first hour or so was extraordinarily good! I won't go into spoilers and details, but it far exceeded my expectations. It one again asked the question of 'What is reality?" And it did a wonderful job of making me unsure of the answer. Then the rest of the movie happened. The next hour and a half devolved into a crummy love story full of underused characters, nonsensical plotlines and mediocre acting. It also completely abandoned the set up of Neo's existential crisis. I was expecting that to be a major part of the ending, which turned out to be disappointing and unfulfilling. As was the movie as a whole.

The Author clearly has no idea what he's writing about. His knowledge of computers, cryptology and programming probably came from his 14 year old nephew. He also really seems to hate Spain. He must have had a bad experience there. The characters are laughably dumb and disgusting despite being the best and brightest minds in their fields. And when I say disgusting, I mean it. Fat, sweaty, over sexualized, repulsive characters. Not a redeemable character in the entire book. In short, unless you want a good laugh at a really bad book... Do not read this book.

Absolute Schlock. The only good part about this book was that it ended. I only read it because the '372 Pages We'll Never Get Back' boys held me down and threatened to hit me with a carney mallet if I didn't. I should have let them. Having my skull cracked open would have been better than slogging through these unreadable passages of alliteration, nonsensical slam poetry and childish attempts at social commentary and satire. Under no circumstances should you read this book, even if it is simply to make fun of it. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to pour bleach into my eyes.
