It's rare to see an Anime that has such an emotional, beautiful and impactful story in a dystopian setting like this. It's one of the few times I got a little teary eyed watching Anime in a long time. In many ways it's very reminiscent of Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell and Redline. Although, It feels like they could have expanded the story into multiple seasons because the story is somewhat condensed. There is a deep feeling of melancholy at the end, wanting to see more of the universe once the credits roll, but you know that this is it. My only critique would be that, while they made all of the main crew likeable, they could've added so much by extending it by a season and giving us more backstory on David (like who his father is) and give us a more emotional impact from what happened to his Mother. Much of the lore of Night City could be expanded to add gravitas to the final scenes as well, while this is an unforgiving and depressing survival of the fittest setting there's so many stories waiting to be told to give life to the characters living in the underworld. It's what 2077 wished it could've been, and you can see in this standalone story how the foundation was there all along to make perfection. Easily, the Cyberpunk universe has worthy stories of being told and remembered it just needs that love and affection like this series has given it.

I wanted to give this series a chance and honestly was looking forward to this since the rumors began around 2016. Despite the beautiful (but sometimes overly done) CGI, this series is all beauty but no substance. The dialogue comes off as cringy at times, trying way too hard to achieve the same aesthetic as the LOTR film and books but it doesn't translate well at all. Genuinely awful script writing that seems to spiral into worse character development paired with a monotonous soundtrack. They've successfully turned LOTR into Wheel of Time on Amazon Prime. Despite the CGI landscapes being decent, there are clear moments (such as the Ice Troll scene) where it looks worse than 2001 CGI and comparatively way worse than the Peter Jackson films. However, the actual sets and costume design are super low quality. For one, the interiors of castles look like they've been made of painted Styrofoam, they're all very blocky and the lighting does not do it any favors in making it seem realistic. Genuinely looks like a College play at times. In terms of the wardrobe, there are moments when you can actually spot printed scale armor t-shirts underneath actual armor. Just... why? For supposedly the most expensive show in history why did they feel the need to cheap out on everything except for the CGI? Did they really think the Peter Jackson films were such a success just because of the CGI? The writing, the characters, the dialogue, the costumes, the sets that aren't CGI'd to the teeth... This is so far from LOTR it's a misshapen abomination and a mockery of everything that came before it. Amazon would have more success renaming it to "Generic Fantasy Show on Prime"

A sad imitation wholly and utterly devoid of any taste, talent, or artistry. The laughable justification that the show "stands on its own legs" and should be applauded for taking such brave, bold decisions with it's Totally Unique Story™️ rings so hollow when it frequently checks off beat-for-beat recreations of memorable fan favorite scenes and dialogue lifted straight from the dub with all the grace of a surgeon using a machete. Characters have their humanity and agency removed in favor of badly written plot contrivances that over-explain and under-deliver on nearly every idea the show has, leading to the ultimate irony of characters in the anime feeling more real than the real people cast in this embarrassment. Original songs from the soundtrack are thrown around like someone shuffling their Spotify playlist with no understanding of how or why they were used in the first place. The world building is non-existent. Nearly every opportunity the show has to sell us on its version of the future we are instead treated to color-filtered locations barely dressed up to resemble a sitcom set while characters sit down and explain exactly what they're going to do because the series doesn't have the budget to actually show it in a satisfying way. Everything looks incredibly cheap. Brief establishing VFX shots seem to be pleading with you to accept that this is a sci-fi series just before cutting to some dull interior. The art direction betrays a deep lack of understanding about its core identity, and no one seems to understand the homework they're copying from. Careful set design and art direction is replaced with flatly lit interiors stuffed with random tat pulled out of a junk bin and haphazardly tossed around. Every detail that could serve to sell us on the reality of this world as a real place the characters live in- like the spaces they inhabit, the clothes they wear or the devices they interact with- constantly falls short of the mark for even the most basic of sci-fi shows. Whether it's an elaborate space restaurant being replaced by a tiny bar or small pieces of well designed character art like Spike's lighter being replaced by a boring Zippo, there's no effort to make the characters feel like they're a part of this world. Nor is there any effort to connect us to it. It's a paint-by-the-numbers rendition of an aesthetic that its creators just don't get. Rather than showing maturity through character growth and how they deal with the consequences of difficult choices, we are given a facsimile of maturity through nonsensical vulgarity that doesn't feel earned by the circumstances. There's nothing to take away here, no lesson to learn or emotions to ponder. No relationships to dissect or characters to grieve for, because this series treats it all like one big joke even as it wraps itself in the guise of "respect" for what came before. This series is not proof that anime can't be adapted into live action, rather it is proof that talent can't be replaced with mediocrity, and an idea is only as good as the people who are able to execute it.

Definitely not a Saints Row game... the gameplay is infinitely worse than Saints Row 1 and 2. It's debatable you can even call this a game, it's more like a failed postmodern art project. The "comedy" dialogue is worse than current SNL skits... I don't even know how you go from having almost every character being likeable in Saints Row 1-3, to making every character a completely soulless and generic CW character. The graphics are comically bad, worse than SR3, extremely uncanny valley vibes for all the character faces. Just a complete unfinished, half-baked mess, do not buy this. You will regret it

It's really mediocre for a movie we've been waiting over a decade for.

As much as I hated the last season of Game of Thrones, I can already tell the quality of the script and cinematography is leagues below even Season 1 of Game of Thrones. I don't know why everyone is praising this show when it looks more like a fan project than anything near the quality of the previous shows. The first episode is meh, the acting is wooden but given some of the dialogue it's understandable that the delivery isn't great. There's only so much an actor can do to salvage bad dialogue, worse direction and poor cinematography. I don't expect this to be as bad as Rings of Power, but it'll probably be barely above water in comparison mid-season. Everyone is so used to eating up mediocre bargain bin shows that something that is just average is apparently an award-winning series nowadays.

Imagine if they remade the original star wars movies as a tv show, but instead of Luke going on a journey to become a jedi master, learning about the truth of his father, and befriending Obi Wan, Han, Leia, Chewie, Lando, C3PO, and R2, they make it something completely different. Instead, he gets all of his force powers and lightsaber skills when he touches a magic "force rock" in the first episode. Darth Vader is replaced by Lord Darkness and he's just some random evil guy that has no relation to Luke. All of Luke's friends are replaced with Jeffrey, Morgan, and CE72R, who are all basically the same character with slightly different appearances. Luke's lightsaber is also clearly made out of cardboard in a few brief shots. That is what they did with Halo on Paramount+

Amazing film to be honest, worth the watch.

This was a major cashgrab never intended to be a full-scale MMORPG. If Amazon wanted to they could have provided better servers, put adequate funding into this project, and made an MMO that lasts the ages. They even had the opportunity to do so now that WoW is in a massive decline, but they decided it was more convenient to hype up this steaming pile of trash. The people who bought New World were fleeced for their money by a company that runs modern day sweatshops.

There are several major features outright removed in Reforged or simply not functioning because it’s in a buggy state including player profiles, ladder system and custom campaigns. The updated EULA also discourages map makers and modders to participate in making content for Reforged. The cutscenes for the most part are undone and severely lacking in the quality Blizzard was once known for. The map textures are horrendous compared to the original game, the models are on par with Raid: Shadowlegends, this does not in any way feel like a homage to legendary classic Warcraft 3. Rather it feels like a slap in the face to Warcraft fans. If they didn’t ruin the original version of the game by merging the old client with this bug infested one, many people would not be complaining as much or refunding. I wouldn’t be complaining if they didn’t touch the original WC3 client. The issue is that they took out features from the original, released an unfinished product and downgraded classic WC3. Not even Bethesda was foolhardy enough to tamper with the original Skyrim when they released the special edition. This is an unmitigated disaster of a game, the developer "update" shows only the incompetency of the dev team leading this project further into the gutter. Rather than adding back basic features, fixing cutscenes and restoring the original client of WC3 they have doubled down on their justification for this mess of a game. I will no longer be supporting Blizzard games due to this disaster, you've ruined the game I enjoyed for most of my childhood. Reflect on what made the original WC3 a 9.2 user score and 92/100 critic score and how you've ended up as the worst rated game in history. Goodbye Blizzard, I would say we've had a good run but we obviously haven't.
