Sadly, the game had to have been rushed out. At release, it was a buggy, steaming pile that was unplayable. AND no one had to come in and fix these glitches. I am, however, so glad they did. There is a remarkable story to be told, full of heart tugging twists and turns for fans of the first game. All reviews are about the original release, but once the patches were in place, there is a genuinely horrifying good time to be had. I have a PS4 version so I do not know how things are on Xbox or PC. I hope this helps people who are a few years behind in discovering this series. I myself was a couple years late to the original. No reviews were updated since the release. But the bugs were cleaned up and there is an actual game to be enjoyed now. I’d give it a 7 or 8.
