I was disappointed by almost every single aspect of this game. I truly don’t believe there are any redeeming values with this game, but there definitely was potential. The first hour of the story mode is really fun, unique, and interesting, but as soon as you leave the first area, it becomes HORRIBLY repetitive, straight up not fun, and a feeling that it’s unfinished. The tournament at the start of the story was fun to participate in, although the rest of players aren’t very good. I thought that as the story progressed, the tournaments would get tougher and tougher. Alas, there never was another tournament. The courses feel unfinished and not very creative or fun at all. Most negative reviews are about the running to your ball mechanic, which I actually didn’t think was terrible. But again, it gets horribly repetitive, especially in single player modes. This game tarnishes the mario golf name. Don’t buy
