Yet another movie ruined by portraying the straight, white male as the antagonist by the end. Sure, his pregnant girlfriend gaslit him after he showed up soaked from falling in a lake. Okay, she sides with some weird obsessive teenager shes known for 5 minutes instead of the man she’s known for 5 years. Forget all the shenanigans the kid pulls by having his “dad” and “cousin” show up. But we can’t just let a creepy gay kid be the ACTUAL bad guy? Dumb move for a dumb movie, Garrett Hedlund deserves better.
