Well this is different. Rather than the typical cowboy movies I grew up with. Pretty much a black perspective on living in the hillbilly era. Although it’s fictional the characters it is based on came from historical records… fantastic. Women of colour and Famous black dude playing the bad guy without prejudice and refreshing change. Music is a bonus giving it that Hamilton production vibe.

What a great production. Uncomplicated story line. Great casting.

A slow watch with little in the story line. The execution of the story line was tedious... Love J.travolta and M. Freeman but a little on the safe to boring side for us.

What a great series to watch on Netflix. A fantastic performance from Michaela Cole on many fronts. A good insite on the depths people go to hide the truth.
