I really do want to like this game. It has a beautiful art style, the characters are cute and visually it's very polished. But the game play is so bland. There's no sense of progression, you collect a bunch of gems that get spent on easily wasted stuff and the enemies kill you in very little hits. There's just not much to it. There's no excitement.
