This movie was so moving to me. The pace was slow, and the actions and dialogue subtle. While the scenes themselves were immediately touching and somewhat powerful, there were also seeds that were planted beneath the surface, that would grow and intertwine and reveal themselves later. On the surface it was a mother coming to clean her deceased sister's home, who, along with her son grows attached to the neighborhood and finds happiness in making the decision too stay in the home. But below the surface is acceptance. Accepting yourself for who you are, accepting your loved ones for who they are, and trusting that if you just choose to be yourself the people you belong with will come to you. Not accepting your loved ones for who they are can to regret and sorrow. This movie sure gave me a lot to think about!
