I knew from the second I saw the trailer that this was a movie that was worth watching and I was not disappointed! Every little moment contributes to the grander story and adds to either the plot or the characters. The acting was incredible and the expressions and emotions were so incredibly well done. The story twisted and turned, but through everything, it made sense. More niche things that stood out: I could actually see in the dark scenes, which were fairly frequent, unless the artistic choice was made to cut most lights. And I could tell when such things were artistic choices and they added to the suspence of the moment. And the score was absolutely phenomenal! The power! The way it swelled! It added so much while sitting jjust in the background of the action and acting. It drew the tension and triumph out of the scenes. I will absolutely be rewatching this movie and I highly recommend it to all fantasy-lovers and any action-lovers as well! I cannot reiterate this enough! Damsel is an absolutely fantastic movie!
