After seeing the preview before another movie my friends and I were eager to see this production. I find his comedy routines incredibly hilarious so I had high expectations. Unfortunately, after leaving the theater I felt as though Dementors had sucked the soul from my body. The disjointed storyline if you can even call it that was all over the place. The acting felt forced and incredibly contrived. “Oh dad I was so worried about you…”. That scene couldn’t have been more insincere. It was actually painful to watch. Similar to the way someone is forced to attend the recital of a kid who can’t play his instrument. That was 90 minutes of my life I can never get back. 😑
