I dont normally watch films like this- but it was a beautiful and tragic love story. It portrayed mental health issues, religion and violence against women in a very graphic way, and shone a VERY bright light on how things were "back in the good olde days". Im not sure why reviews on other sites are so low, I believe this was a sad but lovely movie to watch and recommend anyone looking to watch something somewhat "love-story-slightly-tragic-trainwreck-story" to give it a watch.
