This is a tale of the Depression and the Dust Bowl and beyond. Such a tragic time! I didn’t know quite how horrific it was for those displaced! So much discrimination, oppression and struggle. It’s hard to address all those issues, but the author made a valiant and compelling effort. Important topics for today.
