There is too much narration in the first episode. The audience for this type of show is intelligent and so explaining everything is really not necessary. The characters are very one dimensional as well and not very interesting. Ultimately, after watching for 15 minutes I could not see the point of this show. Really disappointing considering the cast. I love Travis Fimmel, E. Watson, and Mark Strong - the other actors are so inauthentic and phony.

This show is interesting in showing the foibles of the characters in dealing with the aftereffects of an alien invasion and how it affects them and their families. Enjoyable with the exception of the kids of the Dr. character who choose the most inappropriate times to run away or scream when an alien is nearby.

Probably the worst movie in the entirety of the Bond franchise. Generally extremely slow-paced and a not very interesting villain. In other areas, the care and diligence one expects in a Bond movie is sorely lacking. Unable to finish watching it - a waste of time.

This movie is perfect for those who don't care about logical details that are important to the plot of the movie. Somehow Luther mysteriously ends up in prison because the villain provides a notebook of alleged crimes to Luther's police colleagues (Do they have habeas corpus in England?) Anyhow, Luther is in prison and is able to overcome a multitude of other convict assailants and escape. Totally ridiculous. The different hair lengths and pompadour shapes of the villain also got to be really annoying. Could not watch anymore. If you worked on this movie you should be utterly embarrassed by your naive view of the world.
