Less theatrical than the usual Baz Luhrmann production, it’s more of a docudrama.
Fantastic performances but would have been punchier if the editor cut out at least 30minutes.
The slow demise into drugs and binge eating is somewhat whitewashed and strangely I felt shortchanged on the music front.
