From that vape scene in the first episode, I was hooked. As a teacher myself (English, no less), I cannot tell you how many times I have told a student not to do something or to put something down/away and their response is, "I'm not (whatever they were doing)". I also found that dialogue between the students and teachers -- while a bit ridiculous at times, I'll admit -- generally true to what my own interactions with my students are like.

Every year my 9th graders beg to watch this version after we read Romeo and Juliet in class because Leonardo Dicaprio is in it. Every year I get to see their faces twist in horror as the film progresses. I'm giving this film 5 stars because it is pretty accurate, watching it always makes me laugh and watching my students watch it is absolutely hilarious.
