I tend to watch this film a few times a year to remind me how christ suffered for me a sinner. It is overly brutal and doesn't hold back the punches. I found it powerfully compelling disturbing. But l honestly must say that jesus of Nazareth the film has been my favourite film on Jesus's life.

Justing this film again after 30 score years. The truth is the film score has always been apart of my life. The film moved me to make a visit to the wedtern areas of the usa. The desert scenes the old towns. Its my top western of all time. Though its been along time between showings. Its haunting soundtrack its well formed flawed characterd the settings. It really got me.

Staggeringly sublime if l can use those words. As a frustrated pianist myself. The ease in which someone can conjure beautiful melodies in their head and first draft. Amazing. I really feal for abrahams character in this. I love this film more every time l watch it.

Brutal but had me riveted. Cold and bleak landscape. Brilliant acting by voight and roberts an uneasy relationship. It was always going to be a thrill ride for me.

If l think on a war film. This one is ahead by a mile. To believe at all costs. To inspire. To be there for your fellow man without unwavering. A true hero is born. I would not speak out loud wjat l feel about tjis film. The tears would flow. It is truely amazing.

Loved it. Enjoyed the way elma came in like a whirlwind. Spun him around. Unanchored him infact. Her willingness to love at all costs. A man so much like a boy. The sister well she was a powerhouse too. Enthralled.

I keeping going back to watching this gripping film. The soundtrack overwhelmed me. Feeling for the men waiting their fate. Their internal fears entangled feeling of sheer panic. And yet they wait. The two men that the film follows are constantly shifting from one hopeful conclusion to the next. Masterful storytelling. Watch this film.
