This is such an important poetry book to have in your collection. With heaps of heart, a blistering irreverence for inherited societal norms, and a desperately needed window into the evolving world of one's own relationship to gender as well as the undertaking of decolonising of the self and wider world. It was gentle and touching as well as searing with a visceral sensuality and I keep returning to it day after day. Vera Chok is a shining talent on the page and stage and I'm excited to see what comes next.
