Intriguingly gets you in straight way. You have zero sympathy for any character and the script asks for none. The silences and eye acting (made that up but it's a thing) is the best ever created. It's a slice of life murder mystery. We don't have to have a villain or sad sack here in this family. They are awful trying to get on with their lives. One criticism I'll crush is - Nicole Kidman's sliding accents are perfect. She's all over the shop because she came INTO this family and now RUNS it. The character Greer knew who she was and also who she wanted to be. Brilliant show. I'm one and a half shows out - don't know who dunnit!! Must watch xx

Go watch. The funniest and just go watch. It's a once off experience. Movie making that is constantly breaking the 4th wall. So enjoyable. Must see xx must go to cinema. It's that good. This is ground breaking cinema and movie making. Please be part of it. X

SO MUCH FUN!! The Narrator sets the tone immediately that this is going to be a good time and it truly is. Adapted from a book I haven't read and considering it's half history (Lady Jane Grey - Queen of England for 9 days) and half fantasy - who cares? So well scripted, cast is flawless, period costumes and sets are spot on. A rollicking good funny funny time.

The very long awaited Season 2 is absolutely brilliant!! Rewatch Season 1 and strap in for so much fun, laughs, great new songs and you just cheer them on. This is one of those rare flawless gems - the actors, the script, the direction - everything. Treat yourself!!

All I can say is it's a gem. The cast is flawless. Fast moving as is life. Why isn't there another series announced, sir? Is it too provincial, sir? Is that beneath you, sir? Do you enjoy crushing the masses down, sir? How do you sleep every night, sir? It's just funny. And we all need a laugh

I'm so in awe of what Gomorrah creates based in absolute fact with creative? I'm a new person to this gem of a TV experience. It's been likened to Sopranos and Breaking Bad. Yes. But the horrible reality with an incredible storyline makes it a one of a kind. MUST WATCH. I'm at the end of Season One and just saw a hint of a Season Five review - still 5 stars.

Love it - so much fun and just plain funny.

The heart of this is very mean spirited. Apart from one person - you will see who that is - the only person with heart and uncomfortable compassion in this awful story. Another reviewer said this was an manipulative insight and this is correct. Very well done on the film-makers part for the manipulation and an extraordinary story that is definitely worth watching to the end. It's really awful and sad. I genuinely don't know the point of dismissing someone's pain because a pain was greater. It's an odd expose. Not sure it was actually worth revisiting. I wouldn't recommend it. Netflix makes great doco's and I thank them for that.

What an absolute DELIGHT!! Richard E Grant clearly adores the books, topics, places, people and food (you'll never see someone appreciate a pizza more!). His down to earth manner, smile, curiosity and good humour transcend this from a potentially pompous and bookish experience into a how-to live joyfully and appreciate every moment walking in the paths of literary greats. So hope there's another series. We need more feel good stuff to enjoy x
