Mr Manirathinam you have done an injustice to an amazing story given to us by the author kalki and yet you display your movie is based on his novel. Either change the title to the movie or remove the description “Based on kalki’s Ponniyin selvan.” Some changes can be made to increase spice to the story line but mr director you have changed the whole story which is not acceptable by the audience. We have kept a huge expectation on this movie but alas all goes in vain. The crew members have done their part very well but what to do all their hard work is wasted because of the director’s mistake of changing the plot. We really don’t know why many characters have not been given importance for example characters like Sendhan Amudhan, Poonguzhazhi, Anirudha bhramaraayar, Periya piraati etc. Also he didn’t show some important characters like Manimeghalai on screen. And at last he added an unwanted plot which completely killed the story. This movie is huge disappointment for those who have read the epic novel !!!
