This is disappointing for me. Cartoon antics are fine, but this was simply a bad story. The point system made no sense and forced the viewer to not care about the game which is the entire point of the movie. The “enemy” team also pulls in a secret player several times, each time being defeated immediately. This leaves them pointless for the story. The writers tried to one-up the ‘96 classic and swung way too hard. Again, it’s left me disappointed. Our viewing party has similar thoughts.
