it’s slick and glossy, and Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon are believable, but ultimately, the show can’t figure out whether it’s a trashy nighttime soap about entitled rich people with no morals, a schlocky off-the-rack Lifetime movie, or an educational film series to watch and discuss in group therapy for men who get caught in the ‘Me Too’ driftnet. Okay, class, what could Mitch have done differently in this scene? Frankly, i don’t give a damn about the real network morning news shows. why was i expecting to care about a fake one?
