This book and series changed my reading world. Every single aspect of this book and subsequent others was perfection. The characters were epic so amazingly described I felt as i knew them. The story is completely unique ive not found another that can come close or even sounds similar. Every single part had me glued to the pages. The battles were out of this world and the loyalty and friendship, over decades kept you panting for their next adventure. Anyone who likes fantasy and hasnt read this is a lunatic and so so lucky, you get to read them for the first time. I remember waiting at the train station tears running down my face knowing after finishing the last book at the time that i could never go back and read them again. Amazing read it !
