It is movie trying to market the individualism in a society where unfortunately women stayed at home and sacrificed their dream for many years. Now women are educated to stand on their own foot and choosing their life. Also men are educated to understand the individual nature of women and giving respect to their feelings.... currently urban society already transformed to make a choice who (man or woman) to sacrifice to take care of the family or does not want have kids or does not want to marry but live together....so the gender rights are clearly understood now....the story of the movie fit for the women 2 decades ago and for me the women characters in the movie looked outdated....I appreciate the screen play, tone and picturisation....
