Brad Pitt and Tommy Lee Jones look pretty depressed about being in this movie, and Donald Sutherland seems chipper that his part ends early on. Visually interesting, and a low key eerie music pervades. The relationship drama was unbelievable, there was little plot but what there was was ridiculous, the pace slow. Unengaging for me. I could say more but I wasted enough time already watching this - on TV.

I want to let people know that this film contains some short but graphic scenes of animal slaughter. I did not know this, and the film is rated M with a warning about "coarse language". This is not a review, just a warning in case some people don't want to see this. The two stars is just because I found the film a bit ponderous yet glancing and a bit long for the style of film that it is. I left before the end.
