It’s a crying shame that it got cancelled early on before being brought back and then it ended way too soon. Such great writing, acting, intriguing backdrop of WW2 and the heroes of that generation. I only wish that there were as many episodes of Foyle’s War as there are episodes of Midsummer Murders (which got boring because it lacked the historical intrigue that was Foyle)!
