Even if you overlooked that the actors don’t resemble Lucy and Desi, the story is written choppy and doesn’t really look at their personal relationship like I wanted to see. I didn’t see a love connection between the actors, and there was so much bad language… it made it hard to watch. Even though it may have been like that in reality, you can get the story across without so much cursing. It should have looked more into their love story, heart break, and raw emotions. I didn’t like it. And no nudity either. Lucy was portrayed as a horrible person who was snob, arrogant and rude. I’m sure the writers were trying to make her appear as a strong, smart woman,… but it came across very negative. You don’t see any emotion of a hurting woman going through a relationship that’s failing or a heart breaking.
