This film is an abortion. They dumped the fantastic original cast for this forgettable one. They dumped the story, as written in the novel, for this convoluted mess. They turned Lisbet Salander into something reminiscent of the character La Femme Nikita. The action reminds one of the old Mission Impossible series. In short, the whole thing doesn't work and is not worth your time and money. On the other hand, the novel is a good read , true to the spirit of the earlier stories.
