I liked it. Of course I like anything that Kevin Costner is in, It had an excellent cast I thought. There were some times when I got a little lost but then things started making sense and from that point on it was enjoyable. I have to say that it is what I would consider realistic, there were a lot of hardships that occurred back then I mean we don't know the extent of it because we weren't around at that time, but I'm sure it was even more graphic than what was shown in the movie as far as loss of life and the hardships that occurred. If you like Westerns and you like Kevin Costner give it a chance I think it's worth it.
