I love the script and the simplicity of acting. The focus was not too much on the background stories of the main characters which might put off people who are used to those cliche scripts .. sorry, but this storyline was DEEPLY REFLECTED ON! I commend the choice of Iris at the end, even if it may be unpopular. She has her right to choose her "happy " ending! Quite the opposite since she was crying so much in her last voice message... But I cry sooo much more for Parin!!! It is so painful not to have time for proper goodbyes...How he'll move on after is a GREAT SEQUEL for Metawin.👏👏👏 All in all, I will keep a copy of this movie for days I just want to be melancholic about life, love...

I'm a sucker for nostalgia. Look ...if you see Star Wars saga as a huge Fairy Tale for KIDS, as what Lucas INTENDED from the start... you'll get it. Take it from my 5-year old niece watching her very FIRST theater movie... "My name is REY!" Then thumbs up all around...

The Heartbeat which Heartbreaks? Or not? Did I spoil the ending way ahead? But is IT worth watching? Resounding YES! You think Taecyeon is all light and goofy stuff, but this towering handsomeness has DEPTH, tyvm, Mam! Heartbeat title even alludes to a hit 2PM song... Ok, seriously... production is top notch especially costume and set design... Acting...I credit all actors to flesh out a little "thin" script. Actors (and hopefully even the Director) tried to flesh out a script that gets thinner and thinner by the episode. IF they wanted a HAPPY and MAGICAL ending the "solution" could have been hinted on the earlier episodes. Towards the 11th  episode onwards, its just watching a looooong painful goodbye, much like the ML dying of cancer or what not. I wanted to have a GOOD CRY by Episode 14-16, but... I cannot... Why? Like the leads and friends surrounding ML, the audience become another friend who just want to PROLONG the GOOD MOMENTS and tell Taecyeon, "Please don't leave us!" Sniff... Rarely do we get such a realistic and wise ending, folks! So...if you always want a fairy tale ending, HEARTBEAT is not for you! Love becomes precious the MORE REAL it is. And for me, the LOVE STORY is as REAL as it gets. Both main leads have the wrong notion on love; one is too idealistic, the other is so pessimistic. What evolved is a love that though it HAD TO END CRUELLY, there is a hope to "see you again" completion. Death was NOT the end for them. Bravo, Heartbeat!!! You made LOVE so beautiful again.😍

I am surprised to be captivated by a webtoon I finished, not hurriedly, and savored every scene and character! Hurray to the wonderful Scriptwriters, Director, and cast! Each cast was so fitted to the role, but I truly admired Kim Myung Soo for diving into his role as a...Cat! His little gestures, eye expressions, even his special feline cute smile can make you wonder: did he interview a cat to flesh out the role, or how many cats did he observe to perfect his part? His interaction with the cast especially with Yeeun and Jihoon were my most awaited scenes. His bromance/ frenemy relationship with Jihoon can make any girl of any age blush! But spotlight is of course also for Sin Yeeun! I have seen her in her other projects, most recently, " The Secret Romantic Guesthouse", and I can say she can make any role Believable. Here, I love that she changed for the better, and matured in her reasons for loving to the end ..oops I hope no spoilers here. All in all, I'll keep a copy of this series for those days I just want a ray of sunshine amidst all the storms of life.... Btw, I'm a cat person, too! 🥳😹😻
