It does not compare favourabley to Band of Brothers. If you watch it as a standalone series it is entertaining. I do think that having very recognisable actors takes away the awe felt in Band of Brothers where you got to know each of the characters with the then non recognisable actors. The scenes in the air were really well shot and the best of it so far.
