Disappointing..I loved the original Sand, loved the Wool even more. Yes, it took six years to write Across the Sand, and maybe re-reading the first book would have made things better, but I found Across the Sand difficult to follow, the plot disjointed, the ending cut off. The book still didn't explain much of what happened to the world and and some characters were not followed with, so unless Hugh Howey plans to write a third book... hopefully not in another six years
