Khatal begins well and the viewer is left in anticipation of a pleasant comedy. The movie very quickly delves in to toxic left leaning agenda of caste and discrimination. The example of the female police inspector romancing her male constable and ganga jal being shown as being used to purify when a lower caste person walks are all ardent potrayal of a system that is already in decline, but directors somehow like to show that they're very much prevalent and teach Hindus to hate themselves more. The state govts are actually taking massive steps to eradicate these social obstacles but woke enterprises like NFlix continue to push toxic agenda and Hindu bashing. They would not be able to create a similar movie that makes observations of cracks in the seemingly peaceful faith for the fear of a Charlie Hebdo like event at their offices, but are alright making light of Dharmic practices and showing organisations like the sangh in poor light when there hasn't even been a single case of bombing by sangh, but the true purveyors of peaceful faiths have entire rape squads and suicide squads. Watch at your own risk.
