I honestly have no idea why this movie has such bad reviews. I think part of it may be the lack of audience attention span these days for an actual story. I'm a huge horror movie fan, and this is one of the best ones I've seen in years. The nods to the original and the story/ending were excellent. It's one of the best endings to any horror movie I've seen. Highly recommend.
