If you are mexican or study mexican culture or know about the country you can understand what the characters talk about of the events, place, and the scenarios that happen , but overall it's a film that has a lot of long shot twist and turns and it gave me a surrealistic feeling but its could've been better the party scene was very good because you can feel like you are in the film with the sound of the music its quite a scene , but the cinematography was just a beauty the colors that Darius Khondji has in the film are just fresh contrasted to the scenes grey and with color, 7.5 /10

the best castlevania game by far and the soundtrack makes it even better

for a first film this is astonishing
