Sometimes I just want her to shut up. She is pushy, opinionated, spoiled, bossy, narcissistic. No one else can speak when she's around and she manages to always turn the conversation into being about her. She's aggressive and treats her recently widowed father like a child. Give the man some time to mourn.

I thought it was extremely interesting how such a tight knit family has such separated lives they love and trust and hate hard. And Judith Light I think, is the spark to the entire series. It's interesting with twists and turns and you never know what to expect.

Kinda freaky, not at all what I expected. Poor soul.

I absolutely love this show. The characters, the clothing, the attitudes, such an interesting look at this veracious woman who is charming, funny, inquisitive, expressionary and now, obviously under rated. There was so much more to Julia Child than what we saw from behind her duck al'orange'. How she and her husband adored each other, she sometimes "happens upon" things and it blossoms.

Twists and turns, loves and hates, it's the definition of roller coaster ride

The first episode of season 2 hit home with me. My husband died almost a year a ago. We had a 5 acre farm and with that comes a huge barn. When Sam is cleaning out her dad's barn it was as if someone was watching me. Every item, junk, engines, tools, clothes, machines Sam touched came with the same emotional pain, weakness and feeling of never completing the clean out. She played it so well, I cried with her.
