Lawrence Riley

The pace of the film is very fast and unemotional. The characterisation is lost to a very sterile and flat environment. It is difficult to engage with the storyline or believe in such flat world. In trying to be slick and stylish everything else has been sacrificed. It's a shame because if some of the scenes had been allowed to breathe and the pacing been varied then it would make an interesting addition to the representation of the novels.
