Neelam Khan – Google

This series has usual SLB hoopla and a good plot. Although, I dint like the way characters graph kept fluctuating. They felt like changing the course of action often for the sake of narrative which seemed inorganic. The new actress is not impressive. Manisha Koirala and Sonakshi shine through. Aditi Rao Hydari's was most organically grown character to which she gave good enough justice and also showed dancing prowess. All in all a mixed review from me. Some hits and some misses.

I watched the movie today with my husband, and we enjoyed it immensely, especially because we are equalists too. I laughed and laughed in the first half, and the second half kept me glued. It was long but fast-paced. Only one thing felt wrong; where Karan should have stepped back was the billions that were made from the sweet shop making laddoos. It just looked carry forward from Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham. Some business! But it's forgiven because the movie had all modern elements well placed and that one scene (Dola re dola) which will win everyone's hearts. Special mention to Shabana ji and Dharampaji's kissing scene. Shattering glass ceilings all along. Must watch as this may well be the beginning of new age Bollywood.

There are some 1 star reviews that is totally shame for humanity. I cannot fathom what or rather who is making them write these reviews. This movie is total masterpiece and Manoj Bajpayee never impressed me more, if that was even possible. Tremendous effort put in every frame by the whole team and we had many goosebumps moments. The ending statement in which PC Solanki renders the story of why Shivji did not salvage Raavan even though he was the greatest devotee, it was a miracle when Solanki connected the two stories logically.
