Veteran Wife

We bought this game for our 8 1/2 year old son for Christmas. Honestly we got it with the hopes of it being multi-player for the 3 of us. I did not read up on how many players can play at once which is obviously my fault but, it is up to a 2 player. So with the 2 player in effect it really isn't fair to one of the players because the choices are Cappy (the hat) or Mario. If turns are taken, I definitely see it being an awesome 2 player game. Since our son is the only kid in the house, we usually just let him play but he absolutely LOVES this game! He has unlocked so many different worlds and has been able to change his character to the Chomps (barking balls), a T-Rex, a Taxi, Tank, can ride a scooter, and I am sure there are plenty more characters/objects he can transform into. There are so many different levels and it challenges him and makes him think about his next move. I asked him if he wanted to give 4 or 5 star and he said 5! I love the fact he enjoys playing this game and that it challenges him. I definitely recommend Super Mario Odyssey and would definitely buy again if needed.
