If there was a zero rating I'd apply it here. First time in my life I've quit a book halfway through. I always finish them, even if they're not favorites. Not this time. Mind-numbing long boring pedantic rambles, one after another after another...after another. I generally like Franzen's work but this one is just the dreadful!
