I loved all the perspectives of the people, I do not think it was 'too depressing', it was just depicting what it was REALLY like to be in the refugees life. It's also a must-read (just like most of Alan Gratz's other books) because the action and suspense of the scenes are really strong and meaningful.

This book is amazing! From the beginning, it was good, then the middle it was awesome, then WOW the end was REALLY GOOD! I love reading about World War 2, and I think this has to of been my favorite book, EVER. Not even just about World War 2. This is a must-read, and just nails every aspect of a perfect book!
