I really enjoyed it until that ending- GOD that ending SUCKED. They spend the whole movie making you completely hate the antagonists and then they WIN in the end??? Absolutely NO payoff for how much the viewer emotionally invests in the protags escape and rage at the awful family. Who the heck thought that was a good ending?? It's not cool and edgy, it's a complete freaking letdown. Ruined the whole movie for me. Don't waste your time unless you like seeing manipulative abusers get the win. Awful.
