I thought it was very outdated. To remake the same movie and expect a different reaction is crazy. We all ready know what happened in the first lion king, the movie should have centered around Simbas life with Nola and cub. Maybe it could have shown scar mating with the queen and had scar jr who grows up to war against Simba for the throne just like their parents and the queen could have urged Simba before she died to promise to always take care of his brother but scar jr grew jealous of Simba as time went on and end up leaving the pride they war with each other but it doesn’t end with them like it did with their fathers ,these 2 actually come together to defend the pride against other lions and in the end they find love for one another and live in peace in the same pride!!!!! That’s what we wanted to see IJS
