My very first JDrama and I have got to say it was a good opener. The acting was good, with great expressions but at times felt overplayed. The character design was good too, nothing super unique, at times cliched but some times it felt the characters and theirs roles didn't mesh well. The screen play was average with decent visuals. The story was a bit cliched and the twists and turns were predictable to some extent. The mystery and suspense was good didn't overdo it and kept me entertained. For me I have watched so many dramas and stories almost a lot of the new dramas or tv series I watch is predictable. Part of the plot felt unnecessary specially towards the end and the way it ended. But overall a good story, the story gives a cold and sad theme and follows through with it. Highly recommend if you stumbled here and deciding whether you should watch it or not. Don't expect your pants to be blown off but you can definitely expect to be entertained and go through a decent story.
