The dialogue makes me feel like I’m 5 years old and my mom is explaining the plot to me at the theater. Transitions between scenes try too hard to show us how much money they spent rather than to seem organic. The gore element is definitely not a problem for the faint of heart. If you have kids, you might enjoy it together. The soundtrack is generic and forgettable. Disregard any nostalgia for the golden days of LOTR, this is a show for a new generation by an old one who fails to identify the new “hip”. All in all, the show is fast paced and confusing, however they do ultimately explain everything in a single punchline of dialogue as soon as it becomes necessary to follow the plot. So there’s that.
